Conceptually my work romanticizes things that no longer exist. Dwelling on the 'end of day', never showing signs of present optimism, instead honoring what's now lost. The subject matter in my work varies from landscapes to portraits. My attempt however, is to photograph these things in a way that implies much larger themes such as: memory, dreams, life, and beliefs, all suggesting something gone or past.

Instead of 'snapshots' I search for the ephemeral. I use long exposures, capturing the passing moment by exposing my film anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 minutes. This technique results in soft ethereal images that reflect the aesthetic of my own personal dreams and memories.

Visually my work is very minimal. I use that element as a means to convey isolation. More importantly though, the isolated subject matter makes way for the viewer's own conclusions to what was once there.
